Who we are, and how we work.

Eric Cecchi is the founder of Blank Slate Creative. He has 15 years of engineering experience, and he leads security engineering in his full-time role. There he writes security policies, runs vendor assessments, and answers enterprise security reviews.

So he works with this paperwork from both sides: he assesses what vendors send, and he answers what customers ask.

Blank Slate Creative, LLC is an Illinois company, formed in 2025. Everything we deliver is written from public frameworks and from what you tell us. We never draw on any other company’s confidential material.

• Custom orders are written from your answers. The documents describe the tools you use, the people you have, and the controls you actually run, gaps included. We don’t write a control you don’t run.
• An AI model helps draft the documents we write. We say so here, on each order page, and in the terms.
• A human security professional reads every custom deliverable before it goes out. That means every custom policy set and every completed questionnaire.
• The template bundle is different. It is the same set of files for every buyer, so we do not review it order by order. You fill it in yourself.

• No audits or attestations. We do readiness and documentation work only. A SOC 2 report comes from an independent CPA firm.
• No promised outcomes. Your customer or your auditor decides what is enough. We write documents that match how you operate, and we can’t promise how anyone will judge them.
• No borrowed credibility. We don’t claim certifications we don’t hold. The sample policies are written for a fictional company, not taken from client work.
